I've been trying to decide for the last hour or so if I should write this diary. In the past, I've been a little hesitant about even reading diaries that are of the "here's my crappy economic/health care situation" format, but I've come to see them as less of self-indulgence and more of the kind of story that builds support and momentum for particular policies (along with community building and providing support for the individual who wrote the diary).

I don't expect to have that ability here. I'm not a big name diarist, never expect to be so, and am not writing about a situation so terrible that it is outrageous. However, I have been dealing with increasing frustration for nigh on ten months now, and would like to finally take this opportunity to just get it out - and to do so here, for a reason I will mention later on.

This will, hopefully, provide some catharsis. And if it's boring or not particularly well written, I will understand not receiving much in the way of readership. But rather than stomping around the room beating myself up, or going to bed to stave off even thinking about it, I'd like to do something productive and speak my piece.
